Township, village, and city tax assessors send tax assessment notices setting the "true cash value" for all taxable property in their jurisdictions. However, their alleged “true cash value” is often inflated higher than the current market dictates.
Assessment appeals often occur when a taxpayer concludes the tentative taxable value is higher than the property would sell for at a private sale. If this occurs, a property owner can appeal the property tax assessment.
Onyezia + Dailey can help residential and commercial property owners with their tax appeals. We have successfully negotiated appealed tax assessment for many customers.
While obtaining a judgment offers some satisfaction to a creditor, receiving the unpaid debt is even more gratifying. However, once you obtain a judgment to collect on money owed to you, there is no guarantee that you will receive payment. In fact, enforcing judgment on uncollected debt can be confusing and difficult to accomplish.
We take the necessary steps in demanding payment on behalf of our clients, including seeking wage garnishments from a debtor’s employer paycheck, or via their bank accounts.
Onyezia + Dailey attorney’s welcome the opportunity to serve you in your judgment collection needs. We welcome referrals of judgments for collection services.
